Madhu Human Skill & Development Sansthan is an Indian non-governmental organisation (NGO) located in Khajuraho (Madhya Pradesh), established in 2015.
MHSDS's work is concentrated in the fields of Education, Health, Community Development and Domestic Violence which we believe are the areas of greatest need and deserve to be the foci of our attention. We believe the three are inter-related fields and together the only way to make a sustainable and impactful difference in the beneficiary population.
We work for the upliftment of the poor and destitute by helping them achieve socio-economic independence, self-sustainability and health. We do everything from providing educational and health services to the needy, mainstreaming marginalized street children, making low-literate youth employable and empowering women. We help those in need with full respect, love and commitment, with the aim to not deliver charity but to empower them to better their own lot.
MHSDS helps alleviate poverty and social exclusion by facilitating empowerment of women and girls from poor and marginalized communities.
MHSDS works to help poor girls and boy complete primary education and access formal schools through accelerated learning methodology and provide academic support to enhance the quality of learning.
Domestic violence directed against women by their intimate partners is an epidemic of global proportions that has devastating physical, emotional, financial and social effects on women, children, the family and the community. Critical to efforts to combat domestic violence has been the growing recognition of domestic violence as a violation of women's human rights.communities must react with a comprehensive strategy incorporating advocacy, legal reform, and education to combat the problem.
